This is a reply to a tweet I received about my belief that it is not up to America to pay for people’s healthcare and eduction.
“There is a difference between healthcare and healthcare insurance. Healthcare is a basic right. Insurance is not. It’s sad that people think that higher education is a basic right and that America should pay for others college. I’m cool with getting financial help. But it’s not up to the tax payers to cover all the cost of someone’s choice to enroll in higher education. A problem with this country is self entitlement. RT @lauzmelLiberalism isn’t ‘silly’. It’s pretty disgusting that you don’t believe in free education and healthcare. They are basic rights.”
